Multifilar winding technique as we used in our step-up transformers is the best choice for the excellent frequency response!

NAT MCX - MC step-up stage

NAT MCX, MCXX and MCXXX are made on the base of nano-crystalline core with equal gain in both channel! Due to special winding technique we reach the ZERO mismatch between channel - 0dB, in other words there is no any differences in gain between left and righ channel!

All of our transformers are hand coiled!

Triple shielding is our way to protect the transformers from the external field "pollution". There is mu-metal shielding with double 4mm copper plates and aluminium chassis as the outside part!

NAT MCX is large size hand coiled nano-crystalline core based MC step-up transformer with 10 times (20dB) of gain.

It offers both balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs. Fine tuning of load resistance can be done with additional parallel input RCA connectors. It is suitable for cartridge from 0.4 - 0.6 mV of output voltage.
