After 26 years from the first production (from 1999.) of Se1, newest version Se Evo rapidly improve quality of all previous models!

Single - Ended Mono Block Power Amplifier

Power output is set to 50W (higher than previous Se1 GM70 model) with special single voltage gain stage design. Single-Ended Mono Block Power Amplifier Se Evo has very short direct signal path - without main coupling passive components - no any coupling capacitors & no any inter-stage transformer(s).

Transparency is incredible due to fact that there is no any passive component from input to output transformer section (signal "can move" freely)!

For the first time NAT introduced in Se Evo Linear Field output transformer!

What does it mean? It means that the output tap in Se Evo is totally independed from speaker impedance! For example if 8 ohms speaker put on 4 ohms tap than frequency response will stay the same (no any drop)! There is no "window" for escaping of HF (high frequency) signal from 4 ohms or 8 ohms tap on same speaker (read more in Manual)!

It makes Se Evo very universal unit as there is an option for power/damping factor combination! Please read more about this in Manual as well! For example if 8 ohms speaker connect to 4 ohms tap than power drop from over 50 W to 40 W but damping factor increase for 220%, while distortion (THD) drop to only 0.02% at 1 W output!

Input stage in Se Evo form 6N2P-EV (or equivalent) - very linear tube capable to act as low distortion high gain device, made by military standard, indicate as NOS (New Old Stock) grade of the highest quality and high duration (up to 10.000h).

Direct-heated triode (DHT) GM70 is used as output stage. It is a high performance tube capable to dissipate up to 125W of heat, made by military grade as well. Se Evo represent a truly single-ended design without parallel connection of output tubes.

Specially designed output transformer support wide frequency transfer as well as perfect symmetry for both 4 ohms and 8 ohms connections.

Frequency response of Se Evo is very linear (8 Hz to 75 kHz) - without any sub-resonance region.

Tonal quality is independent from line voltage fluctuation as there is regulated power supply for HV (High Voltage) for all stages as well as for the filament supply. Additionaly inside Se Evo there is U.S. NOS true PIO (paper-in-oil) high energy (3,5lbs of weight) power capacitor as support for regulated power supply.

Se Evo may easy drive any medium to high sensitively loudspeaker to bring great sonic pleasure that only real DHT (Direct Heated Triode) single - ended amplifiers can do.

Quality of electronic components that is used inside Se Evo are of the highest level - military grade and NOS tubes, U.S. NOS true PIO (paper-in-oil) high energy power capacitor, Vishay 0.1% resistors, military grade graphite power resistors, electrolytic capacitors for 105C of operating temperature, last generation of semiconductor devices, laboratory grade output connectors, silver-ofc input wiring...

Se Evo works properly at world wide AC line voltage from 100-250 VAC, 50-60 Hz (set in factory only).

NOTE:

- Standard version is used pseudo-balanced input

- First step of upgrade : pure-balanced input is realized with hand wound nano-crystalline core transformer

- Premium step of upgrade : pure-balanced input is realized with hand wound silver-ofc wired nano-crystalline core transformer

NOTE: Protect covers should always be placed over output (big) tubes due to safety!
